1. What is an Adjective?

An adjective is a word that describes or gives more information about a noun or pronoun.

2. Position of Adjectives

a) Attributive (before noun)

Examples: a tall boy, three red roses, my old bicycle

b) Predicative (after linking verb)

Examples: The sky is blue. She seems happy.

c) Postpositive (after noun – exam favourite)

Examples: the president elect, something strange, the people involved
