Passage 1 – The King’s Questions

A king believed that if he always knew the right time to act, the right people to listen to, and the right work to do, he would never fail. He announced a reward for anyone who could answer his three questions. Many wise men came, but their answers were different and did not satisfy the king.

Passage 2 – Meeting the Hermit
